students’ perception of using quizizz in learning english at mts al-qasimiyah
The research aims to analyze students’ perception of using Quizizz in learning English at MTs Al-Qasimiyah. Quizizz is a game-based learning platform that integrates quizzes with interactive features to enhance student engagement and motivation. This research employs a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The questionnaire was distributed to 69 students who were selected through convenience sampling. The analysis is based on three main indicators: convenience, excitement, and practically. The results show that students have a very positive perception of using Quizizz in learning English. The convenience indicator obtained an overall mean score of 3.54, showing that Quizizz is perceived as easy to use and accessible. The excitement indicator received the highest mean score of 3.60, reflecting students' enthusiasm and motivation due to the interactive and game-like features of the platform. The practically indicator also showed a very positive response, with a mean score of 3.50, indicating that students found Quizizz beneficial in supporting their learning process. In conclusion, Quizizz is viewed as an effective digital tool that enhances engagement, understanding, and participation in English learning. This reserach highlights the potential of integrating technology-based applications like Quizizz in the EFL classroom setting.
