Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Huruf Melalui Permainan Memancing Kartu Huruf Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Paud Permata Indragiri Kecamatan Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
Based on field observations indicate that most children do not yet know all the letters, it is visible when the child is having difficulty in learning, the child's ability to recognize letters undeveloped, of 15 children in a new class of three children who were able to recognize the letters well, child was awkward when mentioning the letters, the child also reversed at the mention of letters with pronunciation or looks like. The place and the time the research was conducted in PAUD Permata Indragiri Kecamatan Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu, which was conducted over four months. This type of research using action research (PTK), which is a method of research that aims to see the effectiveness of learning techniques. Subjects in this study were all children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Permata Indragiri Kecamatan Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu which totaled 15 people. The tools used to collect data about knowing the letter is the observation sheet. Based on the survey results revealed that the ability to recognize letters in children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Permata Indragiri Kecamatan Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu before using a card fishing game children recognize letters letters capability is still low by obtaining an average value of 35%. After the implementation of the actions completed in the second cycle, the acquisition value of the average child's ability to recognize letters increased to 87%. Based on the analysis results of the study it can be concluded that the letter card fishing game can improve the ability to know the letters children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Permata Indragiri Kecamatan Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu.
