Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Tradisi Perahu Baganduang Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar
This research is motivated by the fact that students still do not understand the local wisdom that exists in their environment, the teaching materials and exercises used by teachers are only guided by teacher books and student books so that the learning process becomes monotonous, and they are not linked to local traditions so that Student learning outcomes are low, especially in science and science subjects, apart from that, teachers also have difficulty designing interesting teaching materials. The aim of this research is to produce teaching materials that are interesting for students and can improve student learning outcomes in science and technology subjects.
This research design uses the R&D method with the ADDIE model, where ADDIE consists of five stages in the form of: Analyze (analysis), Design (design), Development (development), Implementation (implementation), and Evaluation (evaluation). The results of this research show that the assessment of teaching materials based on the Perahu Baganduang tradition consists of 3 aspects, namely: the material aspect received an average score of 88% in the valid category, the language aspect obtained a score of 90% in the valid category, and the media aspect obtained a score of 91% with a valid category.
The trials carried out by researchers in this study, namely practicality trials, obtained an average score of 89% in the very practical category, limited trials were 83% in the very feasible category. Researchers analyzed the validity of the questions, where the homogeneity test obtained a value of Sig 0.07, the normality test obtained a value of Sig 0.06, and the T-test obtained a value of 1,764. The researcher also implemented teaching materials based on the Baganduang Boat tradition for students and obtained an average score of 83% in the very decent category. Researchers evaluated the use of teaching materials based on the Baganduang boat tradition after being used by students using the experimental and control classes, which respectively obtained 0.498 (experimental), 0.128 (control).
