Perencanaan Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Terpadu (Tpst) Di Kecamatan Bukit Raya Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Bukit Raya District is one of the sub-districts in Pekanbaru City with a population
in 2023 of 107,347 people. Population growth and high consumption patterns cause an increase in waste generation which is only transported to Muara Fajar landfill without processing, thus reducing landfill capacity. To overcome this problem, the construction of an Integrated Waste Management Site (TPST) in Bukit Raya Sub-district is planned. Based on arithmetic projections, the population in 2043 is estimated to reach 131,209 people, with a total waste generation of 44,415.63 kg/day or 450,046.87 liters/day. Waste processing at TPST includes composting organic waste using the bamboo aerator method, compacting paper and metal waste, washing and shredding plastic waste, and no processing for glass waste. The amount of residue transported to the landfill amounted to 14,705.5 kg/day with a percentage of 33.12%. The required land area is 10,291.23 m² with a building area of 7,810.046 m², and the estimated Budget Plan Cost (RAB) is IDR 16,372,793,499 to plan the TPST.
