Pembuatan Film Tipis Ba1-Xsrxtio3 Dan Karakterisasi Sifat Optik Menggunakan Spektroskopi Ultraviolet-Visible
Barium Strontium Titanat (BST) thin film is one of the most interesting main materials to study because it posseses a high dielectric constant. This BST thin film can be used for optoelectronic equipment including solar cells, photosensors and color sensors. Compositions of thin films Barium Strontium Titanat (Ba1-xSrxTiO3) were varied the based on the value of x = 0.25; 0.3; 0.35. These films were fabricated using the sol-gel method which was annealed at 600°C, 650°C and 700°C within 1 hour. The Ba1-xSrxTiO3 thin films were characterized using UV-Vis spectroscopy which would obtain absorbance data. From the absorbance data, transmittance values, refractive index, sample thickness, absorption coefficient and band gap energy are obtained. In general, the greater the absorbance value, the smaller the transmittance value obtained. The results also showed that the greater the thickness of the sample, the higher the absorbance value. Moreover, the value of the band gap energy of Ba0.75Sr0.25TiO3 for temperatures of 600°C, 650°C and 700°C respectively is 3.82 eV; 3.02 eV; 3.76 eV, for Ba0.7Sr0.3TiO3 which is 3.31 eV; 3.48 eV; 3.38 eV and for Ba0.65Sr0.35TiO3 which is 3.29 eV; 3.80 eV; 2,88 eV. The wide value of the band gap energy obtained shows that the thin film BST is classified as a semiconductor material.
