The progress of industrial automation technology is increasingly growing from year to year. With the technology in the field of computers, mechatronics enables the creation of automation systems in machine vision. Machine vision is a machine that can obtain information from digital images or images automatically, digital image capture using a camera and line-shaped laser, added in imaging methods that obtain 3D images of objects so that the volume of objects can be measured. In Indonesia freight forwarding services measure the volume and weight of objects that form the basis for determining shipping costs. Volume is used as a determinant of cost if the mass is small, while the volume is large. This machine vision tool serves to measure volume and weight which previously had a long time to be fast and accurate. Machine vision is made to measure logistical packages in various forms by using a camera and laser to record images that are on a rail connected to a driving motor. The camera moves in translation over the logistics package, when the camera position is in the middle of the motorbike package stops for a moment the camera will record the image to take the packet volume data and load cell takes heavy data, then the motor moves back to its original position, after that the lower motor will move the propulsion of goods to the storage area, the motor moves back and forth until the driver returns to the starting position and the next measurement is made. In making this machine vision uses an aluminum profile frame to facilitate maintenance and use efficiency.
