Kaji Eksperimental Torsi Statik Dan Torsi Dinamik Turbin Savonius Hidrokinetik Type Bach Tiga Sudu Besar Dengan Tambahan Tiga Sudu Keci
The Savonius turbine is a vertical axis wind turbine that can be used at low
speeds flow. The Savonius turbine made Bach type six blades with three large
blades plus three small blades. The purpose of this study is to find out the static
and dynamic torque of the Bach Savonius turbine type with six blades with three
large blades and three small blades. Experimental research uses hydrokinetic as
its driving force with the shape and dimensions of the turbine used, namely 300
mm turbine height, turbine diameter 330 mm, large blade length 150 mm and
small blade length 100 mm. calculate the load that can be taken by the turbine
and above the pulley is given an angle pointer to measure static load. The results
of tests carried out obtained for a water flow velocity of 0.34 m / s obtained a
static load of 1.6 N and a dynamic load of 0.9 N. For a flow rate of water 0.59 m /
s obtained a static load of 2.1 N and dynamic load 2 N. The conclusion of the
study is the amount of dynamic torque with a water flow velocity of 0.34 m / s that
is 0.192 Nm and a water flow velocity of 0.59 m / s produces a dynamic torque of
0.252 Nm. The static torque test results with a water velocity of 0.34 m / s,
producing a static torque of 0.108 while for a flow velocity of 0.59 m / s produces
a static torque of 0.24 Nm.
