Analisis Perubahan Vegetasi Hutan Mangrove Di Kecamatan Bukit Batu Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine of mangrove vegetation changes and
mangrove density in Bukit Batu Sub-district. The research method used is remote
sensing with ground checks and line transect method which was carried out at 6
(six) station in Bukit Batu Sub-district based on NDVI calculations. NDVI is an
image calculation to determine the density level as a division of vegetation areas
with low density, medium density, and high density. In 2001 – 2021, there was a
reduction in mangrove area of 41.64 ha because of land use and natural factors
(abrasion, waves, etc). Based on NDVI calculations, in 2001 only showed high
density due to biased images, in 2021 high density was 312.05 ha, medium
density was 225.79 ha, and low density was 31.44 ha. The highest mangrove area
in the Bukit Batu Village was 171.57 ha and the lowest mangrove area in the
Sungai Pakning Village was 4.87 ha.
