Faktor-Faktor Penyebab Terjadinya Kecurangan Di Sektor Pemerintahan Provinsi Riau Dalam Perspektif The Fraud Hexagon Theory

The purpose of this study is to analyze the occurrence of fraud in the
government. This study analyzes the effect of compensation, experience, integrity,
internal control, organizational commitment, and leadership in dealing with fraud
in government. The population in this study is the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in
the Riau Provincial Government. The sampling method used is proportional
stratified random sampling. The selected sample is ASN in 3 Regional
Governments with the largest corruption, namely the Government of Riau
Province, Kampar Regency and Siak Regency. The data collection technique used
a questionnaire that was delivered directly and some used a google form. A total
of 198 civil servants participated in this study. The data analysis technique uses
multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The test results show
that compensation, experience, integrity, internal control, organizational
commitment and high leadership can mitigate the occurrence of fraud.The results
of this study have a contribution in preventing fraud in government
