The Effect Of Profitability On Firm Value Before And During Covid-19 (A Case Study On Pharmaceutical Companies Listed On Indonesia Stock Exchange 2018-2021)

ABSTRACT
This study aims to see whether profitability has an effect on firm value before and during the pandemic in pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2021 period. The population in this study are pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2021. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 9 companies. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that in the multiple linear regression test before the COVID-19 pandemic and during the COVID-19 pandemic net profit margin and return on assets had no significant effect on firm value while return on equity partially had significant and negative effect on firm value.
