Simulasi Numerik Untuk Analisis Dampak Pemecah Gelombang Di Pantai Pulau Bengkalis Menggunakan Cadmas-Surf
ABSTRACT
Bengkalis has many beaches that directly border the sea without any vegetation. Bengkalis Beach is an area that is susceptible to abrasion. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to protect the coastline by rehabilitating mangroves on the coast that requires coastal protection structures. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the most conducive breakwater height and analyze the condition of the beach behind the breakwater as a place for mangrove tree rehabilitation. The method used in this study was wave simulation of several alternative breakwater heights on the beach which were numerically simulated using CADMAS-Surf software. The results showed that Selat Baru Beach had a significant wave height of 1,396 m and the largest period of 5,572 s with a mixed tidal type of double daily inclination. The area protected by a breakwater with a minimum height of 6 m is the most conducive beach condition as a place for mangrove rehabilitation.
