The Effect Of Women On Board, Board Educational Background, Board Size, And Board Tenure On Esg Performance (Empirical Study Of All Listed Companies On The Indonesia Stock Exchange In 2019-2022)
ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine the inf luence of f emale board, board educational
background, board size, and board tenure on ESG perf ormance in companies listed
on the Indonesia Stock Exchange f or the 2019 -2022 period. The population in this
study are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange f rom 2019 -2022,
companies that make or complete annual reports and sustainability reports from
2019-2022, and companies that have ESG scores available during the observation
period f rom 2019-2022. The sampling technique in this study used purposive
sampling technique and obtained a sample of 28 companies. The data analysis
method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that
a f emale board has an ef f ect on ESG perf ormance, board educational background
has a negative ef fect on ESG performance, and board size and board tenure have no
ef f ect on ESG perf ormance.
