Analisis Kombinasi Hidrograf Satuan Sintetis Snyder Dengan Persamaan Hidrograf Banjir Alexayev, Gama I, Dan Nakayasu Pada Daerah Aliran Sungai Wilayah Kota Pekanbaru Bagian Selatan Sungai Siak
This study investigates the effectiveness of combining the Snyder Synthetic Unit
Hydrograph (SUH) with three flood hydrograph models—Alexeyev, Gama I, and
Nakayasu—in estimating High Direct Runoff (HDRO) across six sub-watersheds
located in the southern region of the Siak River Basin, Pekanbaru City, Indonesia.
The methodology integrates watershed characterization using Geographic
Information System (GIS) tools and Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data, along
with hydrograph parameter calculations based on each model's respective
formulations. The results indicate that the combination of Snyder SUH with the
Alexeyev model yields the HDRO values closest to the standard reference of 1 mm,
suggesting its suitability in representing direct runoff in the study area. Conversely,
the standalone Snyder method produced the highest HDRO, while the combination
with Nakayasu (α = 1.5) resulted in the lowest values. These findings highlight the
importance of selecting appropriate hydrograph models to enhance flood prediction
and management, particularly in urban catchments with limited hydrological data
availability.
