Prarancangan Pabrik Akrilonitril Dari Propilen Dan Amonia Dari Proses Sohio Dupont Dengan Desain Alat Utama Menara Absorber (T-101)

ABSTRAK
Indonesia is one of the developing countries, which continues to experience growth. The need for acrylonitrile is quite large in Indonesia. However, currently, the need for acrylonitrile is used as an intermediate chemical component in the manufacture of acrylic fibers, plastic, synthetic rubber and many other products. The purpose of the preliminary design of this factory is to meet domestic acrylonitrile needs, increase foreign exchange by exporting acrylonitrile products, open new jobs to reduce unemployment rates, and support the development of the industry. The location of the factory is planned to be established in the Basilan Baru area, Sungai Sembilan District, Dumai City, Riau Province with a production capacity of 80,000 tons/year, using an ammonia absorber (T-101) as the main tool. Economic feasibility analysis shows that the acrylonitrile factory is feasible to be established, with a payback period (PBP) of 1.98 years, an internal rate of return (IRR) of 22.771%, a Return on Investment of 49,724% and a Break-Even Point (BEP) of 7,597%
