ABSTRACT
This study aims to empirically examine the influence of top management support and competence on the success of accounting information systems (AIS) among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Pekanbaru City in 2025. The population in this study consists of all MSMEs registered with the Department of Cooperatives and MSMEs of Pekanbaru City in 2025, totaling 26,648 MSMEs, with a target population of 109 medium-sized enterprises. A sample of 78 MSMEs was selected using a purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), with SmartPLS 4 software employed for processing. The results of the study indicate that Top Management Support (X1) has a significant influence on the Success of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) (Y). Similarly, Competence (X2) also shows a significant influence on the Success of AIS (Y).
