Strategies To Increase Sales In The Smashed Fried Chicken Business “Ayam Mdr” In Binawidya Sub-District, Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted at Ayam MDR Business, located on Manyar Sakti Street, Binawidya District, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research was to identify and analyze strategies for increasing sales. The population in this study was all the smashed fried chicken business in Binawidya sub-district. This study used a non-probability sampling method, namely purposive sampling, with Mrs. Rahma as the owner, two Ayam MDR employees and 3 customers as the sample. The data analysis method used SWOT analysis. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques used the data narrative method, namely observation, interview via questionnaire, documentation and literature review. The results of the research conducted using SWOT analysis on internal and external factors in the Ayam MDR Business show an SO (Strength Opportunies) strategy. Some strategies that can be employed include: utilizing the high quality of Ayam MDR to attract customers while continuing to use fresh ingredients and maintaining hygiene during the production process, strengthen excellent service to retain and attract Ayam MDR customers by remaining friendly, delivering orders on time, and keeping the restaurant environment clean, expanding the target market by conducting promotions that highlight the advantages of Ayam MDR products, such as uploading promotional videos on social media, and leveraging the strategic location of Ayam MDR to increase market share with high purchase rates, such as making the front of the business as attractive as possible.
