Sintesis Zsm-5 Menggunakan Silika Presipitasi Dari Fly Ash Boiler Pabrik Cpo
Palm fly ash is waste in the palm oil industry. Palm fly ash has high content of silica. ZSM-5 is one of synthetic zeolite which used as catalyst. It can be synthesized from silica and alumina using hidrothermal method. Source of silica that can be used to ZSM-% synthesis are sodium silicate, gelled silica and precipitated silica. the purpose of this research are to identify the effect of reactant composition, temperature synthesis and time synthesis. ZSM-5 is synthesized using precipitated silica hidrothermally with mole ratio variation of NaOH/SiO2 (0,24 and 0,48), mole ratio variation of H2O/NaOH (155, 309 and 618), mole ratio variation of SiO2/TPABr (30 and 60), synthesis time (6, 12 and 24h) and temperature synthesis (150, 180 dan 210 oC). The result was analyzed using FTIR, XRD dan FESEM – Point method. In this research, the best operation condition was obtained in mole ratio of NaOH/SiO2, H2O/NaOH, NaOH/SiO2 as 0,48, 155, 30 at 210 oC for 12 hour.
