LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE PRE-CLINIC STUDENTS FACULTY OF MEDICINE UNIVERSITY RIAU ON MEDICAL CONFIDENTIALITY AGAINST COVID-19 DISEASE IN PANDEMIC ERA

Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV-2). There are several things that must be considered during this pandemic, one of which is medical secrets. Medical secrets are data and information about a person’s health that are obtained by health workers while carrying out their work or profession, such as identity, history taking, physical examination and diagnosis. This study was conducted to determine the level of knowledge and attitudes of faculty of medicine University Riau (FK UNRI) pre-clinical students about medical secrets againsts COVID-19 in the pandemic era. This research is a descroptive survey by looking at the primary data by distributing a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form to the pre-clinical students of FK UNRI. The result of this study found that the sex most commonly found was female, with 409 respondents (72.4%). The most common age group was 21 years old. The most semesters were in semesters 1 with 156 respondents (27.6%). The level of knowledge of FK UNRI pre-clinical students about medical secrets against COVID-19 was dominated by good results with 564 respondents (99.8%). Attitudes of FK UNRI pre-clinical student’s regarding medical secrets againts COVID-19 in the pandemic era, a good score of 517 respondents (91.5%).
