Strategi Pengembangan Objek Wisata Pantai Purnama Kecamatan Dumai Barat, Kota Dumai
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted to find out the most appropriate strategy to develop Purnama Beach Tourism Object, Dumai Barat District, Dumai City.
The data used in this study is primary data obtained using a questionnaire with a sample involving as many as 100 respondents consisting of visitors to the Purnama Beach Tourism Object, Dumai Barat District, Dumai City. The analytical method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method and SWOT analysis.
Based on the results of this study, it is known from the analysis of internal factors and external factors, it is found that strength is greater than opportunity with a sub total of 2,779 opportunities, 2,449. Therefore, the alternative strategy used is S-O (Strength and Opportunities), taking into account that the Purnama Beach tourist attraction Dumai Barat Subdistrict, Dumai City has natural potential that deserves to be developed, but has not been used optimally, for that in developing Purnama Beach, Dumai Barat Subdistrict, Dumai City must create a strategy by using strength (Strength) to take advantage of opportunities (Opportunities).
