Analisis Pengaruh Perubahan Tap Changer Pada Sisi 20 Kv Trafo Daya Terhadap Setting Relai Proteksi Diferensial
ABSTRACT
The need for electrical energy is increasing along with the increasing standard of living of the people. The use of high voltage distribution in addition to reducing losses can also reduce voltage drops, but on the receiving side there is still a voltage drop. Given the importance of the transformer in the distribution system, it requires the main protection which is called a differential relay. The output of this research is to produce differential protection that is able to continue to work against variations in tap changer changes in power transformers. The results of the research are 60 MVA 150 kV and 20 kV transformers with nominal current I = 230.94 Amperes on the 150 kV side, nominal current I = 1732.51 on the 20 kV side, how to set differential relays obtained from calculating the differential current (I) = 0.096225 Amperes and holding current (I) = 0.817913 Amperes, and as a result of the influence of the tap changer on the differential relay settings, namely when the tap changer is still at a capacity of over or under voltage that can be overcome by the tap changer, then the differential relay setting still reads the nominal current and normal on both sides of the CT.
