Jenis Dan Kepadatan Makrozoobenthos Pada Ekosistem Mangrove Di Desa Puteri Sembilan Kecamatan Rupat Utara Kabupaten Bengkalis
Abstract
Macrozoobenthos density is strongly related to the mangrove density. To determine the type and density of macrozoobenthos found in the mangrove ecosystem of the Putri Sembilan Village, a study has been conducted in July to September 2022. There was a survey method applied. Samplings were conducted 3 times with interval 5 days. Macrozoobenthos sampling was conducted using by scoop and hand collecting. Results shown that there were 4 types of mangroves present and they were belonged to 3 families, namely Avicenniaceae (2 species), Rhizoporacceae (2 species) and Sonneratiaceae (1 species). The highest density of mangrove was obtained in the Station 2 (1,100 trees/ha), while the lowest was in the Station 1 (900 trees/ha). There were 10 species of macrozoobenthos present, namely Telescopium telescopium, Cerithidea quoyii, C. obtusa, Nerita articulata, Chicoreus capucinus, Cassidula aurisfelis, Ellobium aurisjudae, Rectidens sumatrensis. Polymesoda erosa, and Parasesarma sp. The highest macrozoobenthos density was in the Station 2 (5,48 ind/m2), while the lowest was in the Station 1 (4.89 ind/m2). Results of simple regression analysis indicates that there was a very strong relationship between mangrove density and macrozoobenthos density 0.834.
