Penentuan Induksi Magnetik Koil Berbentuk Silinder Dengan Inti Fe, Al Dan Cu Menggunakan Sensor Magnetik Pasco
The research of magnetic induction of coils in the form of cylinder with and without core has been carried out. The number of turn of the coils was varied from 25 to 100 turns. The core used was Fe, Al, and Cu. The effect of core on magnetic induction was studied as a function of applied current. The coils were connected to voltage source in series combination. The magnetic induction was measured using magnetic sensor “Pasco”. The magnetic induction was measured in vertical and horizontal direction for two coils (with 75 turn faced each other) with and without core for a constant current that was 2 amperes. Base on the result, the magnetic induction for coils Fe has BT = 4,405 x 10-4 Tesla, compared to Bo (magnetic without core), that Bo = 2,84 x 10-4 Tesla. Magnetic induction of coil with core Al and Cu is 0,319 x 10-4 Tesla and 0,57 x 10-4 Tesla respectively. From the result it was found that the magnetic induction highest for coil with Fe core. This is due to the contribution of magnetic moment as ferromagnetic material.
