This study examined Effect of internal audit and effective leadership in efforts to achieve good corporate governance at the SKPD Pekanbaru’s government. This research is done by use of descriptive method in the form of survey. Data are collected by using some questioners given directly to Kasubag and staff of financial department in 43 SKPD of Pekanbaru City. Data are processed by SPSS version 17. The findings show that the influence of each variable internal audit and effective leadership inefforts to achieve good corporate governance has a positif direction.
