Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VII7 SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017
The purpose of this research is to improve students' learning
outcomes of class VII7 SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017 through
the implementation of cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) on
science subjects. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles
conducted in February to March 2017. The subjects of the study were students of class
VII7 SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru 2016/2017 academic year which amounted to 41
people, consisting of 30 women and 11 men, Men. The research parameters are the
learning outcomes that consist of absorbency and mastery of learning, student attitudes,
and skills in doing LKS (based on LKS Answers). The result showed that the average of
students absorption in cycle I was 79.12% increase in cycle II to 80.0% with Enough
category. Individual learning completeness in the first cycle of 70.73% less category
increased in cycle II to 82.93% with enough category. Based on the observation of the
learning process the average attitude of students cycle I is 84.17% category enough
increase in cycle II to 88.15% with good category. The average of students' skill in
responding LKS cycle I is 72.08% less category increased in cycle II to 76.01% with
enough category. The average activity of teachers in the first cycle of 84.61% with the
category quite improved in cycle II to 96.15% with very good category. Based on the
research that has been done, the application of cooperative learning type of think talk
write (TTW) in science subjects can improve the learning outcomes of students of class
VII7 SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017.
