Families are two or more individuals who are joined because of blood, marriage relations or rapture and they live in a household, interact with each other in their respective roles, and create also maintain a culture.This research was conducted in Umban Sari Village, Rumbai Sub District, Pekanbaru City. With the formulation of the problem (1) What forms of violence in the household? (2) how is the influence of internal household violence on the level of harmony in the family ?To know the forms of internal household violence and to know the effect of internal household violence on family harmony level, this research is descriptive research with quantitative approach, population in this study overall object studied as much as 36 people then used one of sampling technique saturated sample which represent entire population less than 100 people that is as much as 36 people from year 2016, to collect questionnaires, documentation and observation, based on the results of research can be concluded (1) analysis of family hardness: 41.7% and High 58.3%. Physical violence is very influential on harmony in the family with percentage percentage of 84.4%. (2) 98.7%, which means very influential between domestic violence against Harmony in the family, Harmony includes: a sense of affection fellow family members, obedience worship, communication, anxiety and dialogue between families, the value of harmony levels in the family of: , 3% and High 41.7%. the influence of domestic violence on family harmony is equal to 89.5%.
