Strategi Bersaing Usaha Warung Tenda Pecel Lele Di Sepanjang Jalan Lintas Timur Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci Kabupaten Pelalawan
Traders of pecel catfish in Pangkalan Kerinci face limitations in competing with similar food business. On the other hand, the informal sector that is able to reduce unemployment is a small business. One form of small business that many stands is the business of tent pecel catfish. The purpose of this study is to analyze the alternative competitive strategies that should be done on the business of tent pecel catfish tent by using SWOT analysis. The population in this study amounted to 27 business units with a sample of 6 business units. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and list of stuffing (Coesioner). The data were then analyzed by qualitative descriptive technique based on SWOT analysis. The results obtained nine alternative competitive strategy prioritized. The alternative strategies are (1) improving the quality of products sold; (2) developing inter messaging facilities; (3) maintain good cooperative relationships with suppliers to maintain continuity of raw material supply; (4) capital loan to small business actors with low interest rate; (5) offer a variety of new foods to consumers; (6) make better promotions to attract new customers; (7) assistance from the government's business development program; (8) the government facilitates access to capital loans for small businesses; (9) the existence of a program of managerial capability development from the government.
