Karakterisasi Ketebalan Pelat Non Magnetik Aluminium Dan Tembaga Menggunakan Modul Evb Ldc 1000
This study aims to measure the inductance of non-magnetic plates as a function of
plate thickness (t) and capacitance value (Co) using the LDC 1000 evaluation
board module. The non-magnetic plate materials tested were Aluminum (Al) and
Copper (Cu). The detector method used is Eddy Current with a flat coil sensor in
the shape of a circle with 30 turns. The thickness of the aluminum and copper
plates varies from 0.5 mm to 5 mm with a constant C0 capacitance value of 5 pF.
The measured plate-less default inductance is 88.2364 H and decreases when the
sensor is brought closer to the plate. The maximum thicknesses of Al and Cu
plates that can be responded to by the sensor are 3 mm and 4 mm with inductance
values of 53.2 H and 53.4 H, respectively. The inductance value on each plate
changes in value which is inversely proportional to the capacitance value and is
proportional to the plate thickness.
Keywoards: Flat coil sensor, LDC 1000 evaluation module, Eddy Current, nonmagnetic
