Kepentingan Indonesia Menaikkan Tarif Impor Tekstil Dan Produk Tekstil Asal Tiongkok Tahun 2019
This study discusses the dominance of the domestic textile market in
Indonesia by the import of textiles and textile products from China. This
market dominance is the result of the regional area free trade agreement
agreed under the ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA).
This research uses the perspective of mercantilism and the level of
nation-state analysis supported by the theory of national interests. This
research is a qualitative research using a descriptive analysis method that
describes and solves a problem.
This study explains that in order to limit the volume of imports and
protect the domestic market for textiles and textile products in Indonesia, the
government is implementing a safeguard in the form of Temporary Security
Access Fee (BMTPS) by increasing import tariffs for textiles and textiles.
Products from China regulated by three regulations of the Minister of
Finance, namely PMK 161/.010/2019, PMK 162/.010/2019 and PMK
163/.010/2019.
