Female Sexual Interest-Arousal Disorder (FSIAD) is a condition in which females
experience a loss or permanent reduction in sexual desire. Several factors have
the potential to influence, such as biological, psychological, socio-cultural, and
interpersonal factors. The diagnostic criteria are evaluated using a DSM-V
questionnaire that contains six questions. The objective of this study is to identify
the descriptions of FSIAD in urologic patients. The research design used in this
study was a descriptive cross-sectional study conducted from August 2021 to
December 2021 at Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital Riau Province on
23 samples of urologic patients who were both new to the hospital or had the
disease under control. The questionnaire was completed in 15 minutes during a
researcher-led interview. The data were analyzed using univariate analysis and
presented as a frequency distribution table. The results from 23 samples revealed
that the highest percentage of FSIAD was in patients diagnosed with Urinary
Tract Infection (UTI), specifically cystitis, amounting to 2 patients (66.7%). The
most common age group was 40-60 years, amounting to 8 patients (60%). Each
percentage of influencing factors is biological factors (60%), psychological
factors (61%), socio-cultural factors (96%), and interpersonal factors (52.2%).
According to the findings of this study, a description of FSIAD in most urologic
patients diagnosed with UTI is cystitis, with the highest age range being 40-60
