Rancang Bangun Immersive Virtual Poster Day Berbasis Android Menggunakan Unity Xr Interaction
ABSTRACT
Poster presentation is one of the prerequisites for completing the study program in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Riau. This research aims to design and develop an Immersive Virtual Poster Day application based on Android using the Unity XR Interaction Toolkit as an interactive and immersive platform for academic poster exhibitions. The application is designed to address the limitations of conventional poster exhibitions, such as lack of interactivity, space constraints, and accessibility issues. By leveraging Virtual Reality (VR) technology, this application allows users to explore a virtual exhibition environment, interact with posters, and access in-depth research information. The development method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The application was implemented using Unity as the game engine and the XR Interaction Toolkit to facilitate user interactions in VR. Testing was conducted through unit testing, performance testing, and usability testing involving 39 respondents. The test results indicate that the application functions well, with a unit testing success rate of 97.27%, stable performance above 60 FPS, and a usability testing score of 89.57% (categorized as "Highly Feasible"). The application is deemed effective in enhancing interactivity and user experience, with the potential to serve as an innovative solution for future academic exhibitions.
