problems and inhibiting factors faced by teachers in implementing kurikulum Merdeka at smpn 1 pangkalan kuras kabupaten pelalawan
There are still obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the kurikulum
merdeka. The teachers still do not understand the implementation of the kurikulum
merdeka, because there is still a lack of socialization or training related to the kurikulum
merdeka. However, there are still many other problems that need further research. So
this study aims to find out the problems faced by teachers in implementing the kurikulum
merdeka, and the inhibiting factors for implementing the kurikulum merdeka. This
research is quantitative research. The results showed that teachers faced problems in
implementing the kurikulum merdeka at SMPN 1 Pangkalan Kuras. These problems
include problems in improving numeracy literacy, problems in realizing the achievement
of a Pancasilais student profile, problems in developing student character, problems in
implementing learning through project work; and problems in implementing learning that
focuses on essential knowledge and according to its stages. The main factors that cause
this to happen include the lack of socialization of the kurikulum merdeka, the lack of
teacher awareness in adapting to changes in the education system, and the lack of
teacher understanding of the curriculum.
