KORELASI MOTOR ABILITY DENGAN KETERAMPILAN BERMAIN BOLA VOLI PADA EKSTRAKURIKULER DI SMK NEGERI KESEHATAN DAN PARIWISATA BANGKINANG
Abstract
The objective of this study is to determine the correlation between motor
ability and volleyball playing skills among extracurricular students at SMK Negeri
Kesehatan dan Pariwisata Bangkinang. The method used is the product-moment
correlation method. Based on the Liliefors normality test conducted on the motor
ability test results (X) and volleyball playing skills (Y), the D statistic value for
variable X was 0.192 with a p-value of 0.279. Since the p-value is greater than α =
0.05, it can be concluded that the X data is normally distributed. For variable Y,
which is the volleyball skill test result, the D value was 0.139 with a p-value of
0.671. The p-value, being significantly higher than 0.05, also indicates that the Y
data is normally distributed. The homogeneity test using Levene’s test showed a
statistic value of 4.04 with a significance value (p) of 0.0502. Since the p-value is
slightly greater than the significance level α = 0.05, it can be concluded that the
motor ability (X) and volleyball playing skill (Y) data have homogeneous or equal
variances. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant relationship
between motor ability and volleyball playing skills among the extracurricular
students at SMK Negeri Kesehatan dan Pariwisata Bangkinang, as evidenced by
the statistical analysis showing that the calculated correlation coefficient (Rcount
= 0.431) is greater than the critical value (Rtable = 0.396).
