SURVEI SARANA DAN PRASARANA OLAHRAGA DI SMP NEGERI KECAMATAN BANGUN PURBA KABUPATEN ROKAN HULU

ABSTRACT
Sports facilities and infrastructure play a crucial role in supporting the effectiveness of Physical Education (PJOK) learning in schools. Sports equipment such as balls, rackets, nets, mats, and other tools are used during practical sports lessons. Meanwhile, sports infrastructure includes fields, sports rooms, and other supporting facilities. However, in reality, some equipment is limited in both quantity and quality at the public junior high schools (SMP Negeri) in Bangun Purba District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The purpose of this study is to survey the availability of sports facilities and infrastructure in the public junior high schools (SMP Negeri) in Bangun Purba District, Rokan Hulu Regency. This study uses a descriptive method with research instruments including a Likert-scale questionnaire and interviews with teachers and principals of the SMP Negeri schools in Bangun Purba District. The population of this study consists of 423 individuals. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling, focusing on 8th- grade students at SMP Negeri in Bangun Purba, totaling 125 students. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the condition of sports facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 1, 2, and 3 in Bangun Purba District, Rokan Hulu Regency is categorized as "Good". This is supported by the average questionnaire score of 72.09%, which falls within the range of 61–80%.
