Efektivitas Penambahanprobiotik Probio-7 Dengan Dosis Berbeda Terhadap Laju Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus)Sistem Resirkulasi
Asian Redtail Catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) is one of the local fish commodities that has the potential to be cultivated due to its high economic value. The use of feed in cultivation needs to be optimized in order to maximize production. One way to improve feed digestion is by adding probio-7 probiotics to the feed. This study aims to determine the optimal dosage of probio-7 probiotic supplementation for Asian Redtail Catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) in a recirculation system. This study was conducted in January-February 2025 at the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau. The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments of probiotic probio-7 dosage (0; 8; 10; 12 ml/kg of feed) and three replicates. The parameters observed included absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, specific growth rate, feed efficiency, feed conversion ratio, feed digestibility, and survival rate. The results showed that the addition of probio-7 probiotics at a dose of 12 ml/kg of feed resulted in absolute weight growth of 8.60 grams, absolute length growth of 5.79 cm, specific growth rate of 3.82%, feed efficiency of 95.36%, feed conversion ratio of 1.04, survival rate of 98.66%, and feed digestibility of 69%.
