This thesis is titled Development of Interactive E-Modules Assisted by
Flipbooks on Argumentative Writing Material for High School Students. This
research was motivated by an analysis of student needs, interviews with teachers,
and an analysis of learning objectives, which are not only oriented toward
general theory but also differentiated approaches and Riau Malay cultural
content.
The objective of the study was to develop an interactive e-module using
flipbook media, incorporating the distinctive characteristics of Riau Malay
culture. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method
with the ADDIE model. The stages included analyze, design, development,
implementation, and evaluation.
The results of the study indicated that the interactive e-module assisted by
flipbook successfully improved students' argumentative text writing skills.
Students experienced a significant improvement in writing argumentative texts
containing Riau Malay culture. The learning process became more interesting
and enjoyable.
In conclusion, the development of this e-module provides innovation in
argumentative text writing learning. The differentiated approach, which combines
technology and Riau Malay culture, has proven effective in attracting students'
interest. This research contributes to the development of differentiated approachbased
learning at the high school level. It is recommended to integrate learning
and the involvement of language experts. Further research is needed to explore
new strategies in teaching argumentative text writing.
