Pengetahuan, Sikap Dan Tindakan Dokter Praktik Umum Swasta Terhadap Diagnosis Dan Tatalaksana Tuberkulosis Paru Berdasarkan International Standards For Tuberculosis Care (ISTC) Di Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

Indonesia was a second country with burden pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) cases world wide in 2015. Case Notification Rate (CNR) of Riau province was 94 cases/100.000 people, and Case Detection Rate (CDR) found in Indragiri Hulu regency was 21,1% in 2015. Private general practitioners (PGP) become a choice for most patient in pulmonary TB’s treatment. Thus the supervision of the knowledge, attitude and practice PGP in latest TB diagnosis and management is important. This research was conducted to know the knowledge, attitude and practice of PGP regarding the diagnosis and management of pulmonary TB based on international standards for tuberculosis care (ISTC) in Indragiri Hulu regency. This research used descrptive cross sectional method with total sampling using questionnaire given to 30 PGP among overall 39 PGP in Indragiri Hulu regency from November to Desember 2016. Out of 30 samples have gotten 53,3% of PGP had enough knowledge, had good (30.0%), while 16,7% had less knowledge. For attitude mostly PGP had negative attitude (56,7%) PGP and 43,3% positive attitude. Meanwhile for practice 46,7% had enough, 36,6% had less and then 16,7% had good practice. The knowledge and practice of private general practitioner towards pulmonary TB’s in Indragiri Hulu regency was enough but for attitude was still negative. So, it might indicated the education about Pulmonary TB’s diagnosis and management by ISTC for Private General Practitioner was needed.
