Hubungan Antara Pengetahuan Tentang Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS) Dan Perilaku Seksual Mahasiswa Strata Satuuniversitas X Di Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are the infections commonly spread by sexual activities, especially genito-genital, anogenital, or orogenital sex. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the knowledge of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and sexual behavior of college students at X University in Pekanbaru, Riau Province. This study was an analytic study with cross sectional approach. There were 435 respondents has qualified the inclusion and exclusion criterias. Data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed by chi square test with α=0,05. The result of this study were, the knowledge level of respondents on STIs was mostly high 50,6%, sexual behavior of the majority respondents were not at risk of STIs 89,2%, and there was no correlation between knowledge about STIs and sexual behavior of respondents (p=0,816).
