Gambaran Penggunaan Antibiotik Pada Anak Dengan Diare Akut Di Puskesmas Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaruperiode Januari – Desember 2015
Diarrhea still the most caused of death for children in the world. Most common pathogens that cause acute diarrhea was rotavirus. And by that, antibiotic use for acute diarrhea in children was irrelevant except there was signs for secondary bacterial. This study aimed to collecs numbers of antibiotic use for acute diarrhea in children at Rumbai Pesisir Community Health care, Pekanbaru on January – December 2015. This was descriptive – retrospective study, collected from patient’s medical record and has involved 170 patients. The number of antibiotic use for acute diarrhea in children was 24.7% and all of the used cotrimoxzasole. Appropriate indication therapy based on symptoms was 90.5%, appropriate dosage was 92,9% and appropriate frequency was 92.9%. We can concludes that antibiotics still lagerly used for acute diarrhea in children at Rumbai Pesisir Community Health Care although antibiotic was rational therapy for this case.
