Gambaran Perubahan Kadar Ureum Dan Kreatinin Pada Pasien Uropati Obstruktif Akibat Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) Pasca Transurethral Resection Of The Prostate (TURP) Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2010-2015
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is the most common tumor in men. BPH may cause obstruction of the urinary tract or commonly referred as obstructive uropathy. Obstructive uropathy that occured in long term could cause deterioration of kidney function.Examination of urea and creatinine levels could be done to monitor the deterioration of kidney function.Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) action could be performed to remove obstructive uropathy caused by BPH. The purpose of this study is to know the description of changes of urea and creatinine levels of obstructive uropathy patients due to BPH post TURP at RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau Province in 2010 – 2015. The method of this study was cross sectional descriptive by collecting data from medical records of obstructive uropathy patients due to BPH undergoing TURP. There were 88 data collected. The results showed that this case was common in age group 61-70 (37.5%). There were 84 cases (95.5%) of obstructive uropathy patients having post-TURP urea levels 20 -40 mg / dl, Creatinine levels in all obstructive uropathy patients were 0,6 - 2 mg / dl (100%). This study found that there was improvement of kidney function after TURP in obstructive uropathy patients due to BPH.
