Gambaran Farmakoterapi Diare Akut Pada Anak Di Klinik Pratama X Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2015
Acute diarrhea is an excretion of a lower consistency faeces with an increase in frequency of defecation that occurs at least 3 times a day within 7 days without exceeding 14 days. This research aimed to determine the profile of pharmacological therapy on children with acute diarrhea at clinic X in Pekanbaru within period of January - December 2015. The research was done in a descriptively way. Data were taken from patients’ medical records. Total sampling method was used and 107 patients were found. Results showed that the patients’ characteristics on acute diarrhea were mostly boys with percentage of 56,1% and toodlers (0-5 years old) with the percentage of 63,6%. Clinical findings were associated with washy defecation with percentage of 99,1%. Characteristic of the treatment was utilization of adsorbents group, analgesic-antipyretic, Zinc, probiotic, rehydration therapy, antiemetic, antibiotic, antimotility and antihistamine with percentage of 20,2%, 19,9%, 18,5%, 14,4%, 11%, 7,5%, 5,8%, 2,4% and 0,3% respectively. Dosage accuracy for diarrheal treatment was 92,1%. The result showed there are still drug use is not recommended for diarrhea on children.
