Gambaran Kualitas Hidup Wanita Pasca Menopause Di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru Tahun 2016
Menopause is a natural process in a woman's life that causes symptoms and potentially affects their quality of life. This study was conducted to determine the quality of life of postmenopausal women in Tresna Werdha Khusnul Khotimah Social Institution Pekanbaru in 2016. This study was a descriptive study using cross-sectional approach. This study used Menopause Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire (MENQOL). Samples were taken with consecutive sampling technique for all postmenopausal women who met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. This study involved 30 samples. Most of the population aged 71-80 years. Most of the population education level was elementary. All of the women in this study had experienced menopause for over 5 years. Most postmenopausal women had mild impaired quality of life (67%), with the average quality of life score was 2.96. Most postmenopausal women had a feeling of lack of energy. The next most frequent symptoms were feeling of tiredness, decrease in physical strength, decrease in stamina and frequent urination. The average score of quality of life based on vasomotor, psychosocial, physical and sexual domain were 3.67, 3.34, and 3.65, 7, respectively.
