Pola Keterampilan Literasi Informasi Dalam Proses Pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning Pada Mahasiswa Di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Riau
Information literacy skills required to be information literate require an understanding of: a need for information, the resources available, how to find information and evaluate the results, how to work with or exploit result, ethics and responsibility of use how to communicate or share the findings and how to manage the findings. Problem-based learning is a learning approach that uses complex problem as a trigger in learning process of students. The aim of this study was to obtain the pattern of information literacy skills in the problem-based learning process in medical students of Riau University. Qualitative methods were used for the collection. Analysis the data with collection of sample and uses snowball sampling methods. In the qualitative methods, sample called as informant on six medical students of Riau University batch 2014 who have high and low GPA. The result of this study shown informants with high GPA have a good ability in determine the extent of information needed and accsess the needed information effectively and efficiently and informants with low GPA haven’t good ability yet in determine the extent of information needed and accsess the needed information effectively and efficiently and informans. All of the informants have a good ability in evaluate information and its sources critically.
