Pola Bakteri Dan Sensitivitas Antibakteri Pada Urin Pasien Dengan Kateter Urin Di Rsud Petala Bumi Pekanbaru
Bacteriuria is a condition where there is a presence ofbacteria in urine. The occurance of bacteriuria can be caused by the usage ofurinary indwelling catheter, mainly on hospitalized patient. Bacteriuria can become urinary tract infection (UTI), mainly catheter associated UTI. Patient with bacteriuria that become catheter associated UTI requires antibacterial for therapy.Urine culture and antibacterialsusceptibility test are important to determine the choices of antibacterial therapy. The aim of this descriptive study was to know bacterial patternand antibacterialsusceptibility in urine of patient with urine catheter at Petala Bumi General Hospital Pekanbaru. The samples were 30 hospitalized patients who usedurine catheter at minimum of 48 hours at Petala Bumi General Hospital Pekanbaru. This study was found that patients characteristic with urinary catheterof majority 46-55 years old (26.6%), the female gender (73.3%), duration of use the urine catheter was 2-5 days (80%) and urine culture>105cfu/mL (100%). Result of urine culture was found that predominantly bacteriuria was Gram negative (90%), that wasEscherichia coli (55.5%), Acinetobacter sp (22.2%), Klebsiella sp (11.1%) and Pseudomonas sp (11.1%). Gram positive bacteria was found only one (10%), that wasStaphylococcus aureus (100%). The result of susceptibility test found that Gram-negative 77.7% sensitive of chloramphenicol and fosfomycin. Gram-positive 100% sensitive of amoxicillin-clavulanat, azytromicin, cefazolin, cefepime, cefoxcitin, ceftriaxon, ciprofloxacin, chloramphenicol, linezolid, meropenem and trimethropim-sulfamethoxazol.
