Gambaran Penatalaksanaan Striktur Urethra Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode 2011-2016
Urethral stricture is one of complications in urology. Urethral stricture still became a health issue because the increasing number of incidence and cause of increasing in morbidity. The aim of this research is to know the of management on urethral stricture based on age, gender, clinical symptom, etiology, examination of radiology, classification, management and complication. This research used descriptive study. The research was conducted in Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital in Pekanbaru of Riau Province involving 82 patient medical records by total sampling. The result showed that urethral stricture cases occurred mostly in age above 65 which were 19 (23,2%) patient and all of them are male patient. Most frequent symptom was urinary retentio in 42 (51,2%) patient. Most frequent etiology was iatrogenic (80,5%). The most used radiology imaging was urethrography in 48 (58,5%) patient. Based on anatomical classification, anterior urethral stricture was the most frequent case which was 53 (64,6%) patient. Based on its location, bulbar urethra for 49 patients (59,8%) came out as the highest number of urethral stricture classification. The most frequent treatment for urethral stricture was urethroscopy which was 82 (100%) patient. The highest treatment was internal urethrotomy, in 68 (82,9%) patient. Then, prognosis urethral stricture showed a good result which was gathared from 53 (64,6%) patient. The complication of urethtal stricture were urinary retention 14 (17,1%) patient and hydronefrosis was 2 (2,4%) patient. This research concludes that urethral stricture mostly found in elder people where the highest incidence was anterior urethral stricture especially bulbar urethra and more than half of cases had good prognosis and without complication.
