Ketepatan Penggunaan Antibiotik Pada Pasien Infeksi Saluran Kemih Dewasa Di Bangsal Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Swasta X Pekanbaru Tahun 2016
Urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection due to the proliferation of microorganisms in the urinary tract. These infections can be categorized as symptomatic or asymptomatic. Generally Urinary Tract Infection is caused by Gram negative germs such as Escherichia coli which is the most cause of UTI is 70 - 90%. Other causal bacteria are Klebsiella pneumonia and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In patients with complicated and non-complicated UTIs require antibiotics. This study to determine the appropriateness of the use of antibiotics in UTI patients include the appropriateness of the selection of antibiotics, the duration of antibiotics, the dosage of antibiotic use, the frequency of antibiotics, and the precise way of antibiotics. This study is a retrospective descriptive study using secondary data in the form of medical records. The sample of this research is got 49 medical record data in adult UTI patient at Private Hospital X Pekanbaru in January 2016 until December 2016. Based on the result of research it is found that female gender characteristic is higher 61,2%, patient age group is 46-55 years 22,4%, complicated UTI 55,1%, patients with normal kidney function as much as 89,8%, day of UTI care as much as 1-3 days as much as 46,9%, National health insurance patient financing group of 57,1%, and patients go home or recover as much as 100%. Results from the appropriateness of 75,5% antibiotics selection, the long-term use of antibiotics 40,8%, the appropriateness of dosage as much as 77,6%, the frequency appropriateness of 91.8%, and the precision of antibiotic delivery as much as 81,6%.
