Perbandingan Gambaran Histopatologi Pankreas Pada Tikus Putih (Rattus Novergicus) Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 Yang Diberi Suspensi Kedelai Dan Suspensi Tempe
Isoflavone contents especially genistein, daidzein, and glycetin in soybean have been known as antidiabetic agents. Fermentation process in soybean can decrease 65% phytat acid amount and initiate the formation of aglycone isoflavone which can increase mineral bioavailability. The aim of this research is to analyze soybean and tempeh (soybean fermentation product) administration effect to the diameter and insulitis level on langerhans islet of diabetic rats. Fifteen male Rattus novergicus divided into 4 groups : Standard, negative control, soybean and tempeh. Diabetes mellitus type 2 in rats were induced by the administration of streptozotocin (50mg/KgBW) and nicotinamide (110mg/KgBW) intraperitoneally. Blood glucose level were measured by using glucometer while pancreas histopathology were captured by using Laz ez 3.0 application and measured by using image raster 3.0. Soybean suspension and tempeh suspension were given by using sondage for 30 days with a dose of 200 mg/KgBW for each. Pancreas histopathology were colored by using Hematoxylin Eosin. (HE). The result showed that insulitis level means on tempeh suspension administration was decrease compared to negative control (p0,05). In conclusion, tempeh suspension administration can decrease insulitis level on Langerhans islets better than soybean suspension administration.
