Paraquat is a herbicide that is often used in Indonesia and other developing countries. Paraquat is toxic to humans with the result that using paraquat inappropriately to the rules can cause poisoning in humans. Paraquat damages organs including the lung, causing death because of breathing failure. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of paraquat on lung fibosis histopathology overview of mice (Mus musculus). This study is an experimental research design with post test only with control and using 15 mice in the sample were divided into 5 groups. One group was the control group. Four groups as treatment groups received different doses of paraquat those are 25 mg / kg / day, 50 mg / kg / day, 75 mg / kg / day and 100 mg / kg / day for 7 days by spraying. Analysis of the data using One Way ANOVA. The results of this study showed thicked of alveolar wall, inflammatory cell, hemorrhage and honeycomb on histopathology overview of the treatment groups with a score that increases with increasing the dose given. This study also showed a significant correlation between histopathological damage of lung fibrosis of mice (Mus musculus) with graded doses of paraquat exposure for 7 days (p=0.000). In conclusion, there are significant changes in lung fibrosis histopathology overview of mice (Mus musculus) after paraquat exposure for 7 days.
