Faktor Risiko Multidrug Resistancepseudomonas Aeruginosa Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a Gram-negative bacteria that can cause infection, especially in immunocompromised patient. Multidrug resistance Pseudomonas aeruginosa is bacteria that resistance to at least three class of antibiotic. The objective of this study was to determine the risk factors of multidrug resistance Pseudomonas aeruginosa in ArifinAchmad General Hospital, Riau Province. The design of this study was analytic with case-control study approach. The samples of this research were 50 case groups - 50 control groups. The result showed that there was no correlation between Multidrug Resistance Pseudomonas aeruginosa with the risk factors such as hospitalization more than 5 days, the use of antibiotics, the use of invasive tool, diabetes mellitus, chronic renal disease, immunocompromised, history of hospitalization from 1 month ago, and hospitalization at intensive care unit.
