Hubungan Pengetahuan Dan Kesadaran Tentang Risiko Penularan Dengan Kejadian Kondiloma Akuminata Pada Pekerja Seks Komersial (Psk) Di Hotspot J Pekanbaru
Genital Wart (GW) is one of the most common clinical manifestations of human papillomavirus (HPV). Female Sex Workers (FSWs) have a high risk exposed to GW. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge and awareness about risk of transmission with the incidence of GW in FSWs in hotspot J Pekanbaru. The method use in this research was analytical method with cross sectional approach . The population were FSWs in the hotspot J Pekanbaru and the samples were taken by using total sampling with 49 people. Data were collected through questionnaires and genital examinations. Data analysis using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The result of the research stated that number of GW incidence in hotspot J Pekanbaru was 32.7% . The knowledge of FSWs about GW was mostly low ( 46.9%). Awareness about the risk of transmission of GW was mostly low ( 53.1%). There was no relationship of knowledge with the incidence of GW (p=0,986). There was no relationship of awareness about the risk of transmission with the incidence of GW ( p=1,000).
