Ketepatan Penggunaan Antibiotik Pada Pasien Pneumonia Dewasa Di Bangsal Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Swasta X Pekanbaru Tahun 2016

Pneumonia is an infection of the pulmonary parenchyma that causes consolidation and disturbance when gas exchanges. Antibiotics have an important role in the treatment of pneumonia. The objective of the study was to determine the appropriateness of antibiotics use in adult pneumonia patient in Private Hospital Wards X Pekanbaru in 2016. This study is a retrospective descriptive study using secondary data in the form of medical records based on total sampling method. The result of this study obtained 81 samples. Age is over 65 years old (49,4%). The largest number of female patients (60,5%). (61,7%) of patients kidney function were normal. The longest hospital stay is over five days (48,2%). (45,7%) of the patients used National Health Insurance (JKN). The most condition that patients out were healed (96,3%) . Accuracy based on the selection of antibiotic use (54,9%). Duration of antibiotics use (16,4%). Accurate dose of antibiotics use (84%). And the frequency in using the antibiotics at (80%). While, the accuracy in the way of giving the antibiotics was (100%).
